Elkhart County Symphony

THE ELKHART COUNTY SYMPHONY MAKES THE LERNER THEIR HOME.

The Elkhart County Symphony

In 1948, Zigmont “George” Gaska recognized the abundance of musical talent in the community as well as the tremendous support for great musical literature and founded the Elkhart County Symphony. Over the years, the Elkhart County Symphony Association has included a Symphonic Chorus, numerous ensembles, and an educational outreach arm with the Youth Honors Orchestra. We have entertained with such notable soloists as Jack Benny, Sasha Korsantiya, The Boston Brass, Nicholas Roth, Robert Spano, and Sandi Patty. Governed by a hard working and dedicated Board of Directors, the Elkhart County Symphony is under the leadership and baton of the very talented and award winning music director, Brian T. Groner. Offering 4-6 concerts by the adult orchestra per season, the ECSA also present concerts to middle school, has a Literacy and Music program available to school children by a String Quartet or a Woodwind Quintet, and presents 2-3 concerts annual by the ECSA Youth Honors Orchestra.

From classical concerts to cabarets, from exciting regional soloists to youth concerto competition winners. The ECSA offers great musical concerts at reasonable costs to be enjoyed by the whole family.

We are….. Real People. Real Music. Come hear us play for you!
