Randy Bachman: Every Song Tells a Story

In a rare and intimate setting, Randy Bachman weaves together the iconic hits of the Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive with the often-humorous stories that brought the songs to life. Inspired by his award-winning radio program Vinyl Tap, Randy takes his master story-telling and voluminous musical knowledge on the road and takes fans on a retrospective of his career.

A visual backdrop illustrating Randy’s legendary rock n’ roll journey will accompany each song, giving viewers a historical glimpse into one of Canada’s greatest musical ambassadors.

The man who is often referred to as the “architect of Canadian rock n’ roll” has earned over 120 gold and platinum album/singles awards around the world. His song writing has garnered him the coveted #1 spot on radio play lists in over 20 countries and he has amassed over 40 million records sold.

Joining Randy Bachman is the sovereign trio of Brent Howard, Marc LaFrance and Mick Dalla-Vee, who have been performing together for over 20 years.

Randy Bachman’s Every Song Tells a Story is a guided journey through the last 30 years of popular music presented by one of the greatest rock legends of our time.

Opening for Randy Bachman is Davy Knowles. Born and raised in the Isle of Man, Davy Knowles learned to play guitar by studying the likes of Rory Gallagher, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, and Peter Green. Guitar great Joe Satriani proclaimed Knowles his “favorite modern bluesman.” He has toured with Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Chickenfoot, The Who, Warren Haynes, George Thorogood, Joe Bonamassa, and Peter Frampton. Davy Knowles is the future of the blues and the future is in capable hands.

    Purdue Varsity Glee Club

The Purdue Club of Elkhart County Foundation is excited to once again be bringing our Annual Scholarship Fundraising Concert to the Lerner Theater in Elkhart on Sunday, September 30, at 2:30 p.m. This will be a very entertaining and high quality performance with both the all-men's Glee Club and the all-ladies' Purduettes. As you may know, Purdue is known for its vocal music performances while not offering any degrees in music – BUT – continues to entertain audiences around the world with great acclaim. There are two local gentlemen from Elkhart County in the Glee Club. Joel Byler, a Senior in the Glee Club, is a Goshen High School graduate, and incoming Freshman, Reed Davisson, a graduate of Elkhart Memorial High School. There are also members of both the Glee Club and Purduettes from our Michiana area who will be singing with the groups as well.
