    Little River Band

The Eagles founding member, the late Glenn Frey, knew what he was saying when he dubbed Little River Band "the best singing band in the world." Through the '70s and '80s, LRB enjoyed huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart topping hits like: "Reminiscing," "Cool Change," "Lonesome Loser," "The Night Owls," "Take It Easy On Me," "Help Is on Its Way," "Happy Anniversary," "We Two," "Man On Your Mind," "The Other Guy," and "It's A Long Way There." Worldwide album, CD sales and digital downloads now top 30 million and LRB has set a record for having had Top 10 hits for 6 consecutive years – In fact, they were the very first band to achieve that remarkable status! According to BMI, "Reminiscing" has garnered rare status with over 5 million airplays on American radio, and"Lady" is close behind with over 4 million airplays.

Bassist/vocalist Wayne Nelson joined the band in 1980. Working alongside the founding members on stage and in the studio, he added his voice to the distinctive harmonies that create the unique LRB sound. In 1981, Nelson's voice was recognized by world renowned Beatles producer Sir George Martin while working on the Time Exposure album. Wayne was chosen to record lead vocals on two of the band's biggest hits, "The Night Owls" and "Take It Easy On Me." Later that same year, guitarist extraordinaire Stephen Housden joined LRB bringing a rock element into the band's sound and helped contribute to their string of Top 10 hits. As band members departed, both Housden and Nelson worked together to bring LRB into the new millennium. Currently the band's lead singer, Nelson has contributed his vocal and bass guitar talents to 22 Little River Band Albums/CD's. LRB continues to perform to sold out audiences, and Stephen Housden continues to write and participate in all things Little River Band. Keyboardist Chris Marion is a Dove Award winning producer. Chris is the creator of all the orchestral arrangements and charts on The Big Box. It is amazing to watch him play, sing, and conduct from his riser! Lead Guitarist Rich Herring is a highly skilled player, singer, and producer of many Nashville artists…not to mention a great songwriter. He and Wayne have co-produced every LRB project since he joined the band. Drummer Ryan Ricks has locked down the rhythm section, and rounds out the vocals with his incredible range. Great singing drummers are rare…and LRB is lucky to have Ryan as part of that all-important vocal blend. Nashville Guitarist Colin Whinnery plays rhythm and lead guitar, and shares lead vocal duties with Wayne. He brings a brand new voice and a fresh outlook to the rhythm section.

Bringing their vocal and musical energy along with some cool arrangements to their timeless classic hits, each show creates new memories for the audience. The band enjoys watching their fans fall in love with the songs all over again as they are swept up by the show's powerful performance and the volume of hits from LRB's history. Little River Band is hotter than ever, selling out shows and making music from coast to coast nationwide, continuing their legacy of being "the best singing band in the world."

    Get the Led Out

From the bombastic and epic, to the folky and mystical, Get The Led Out (GTLO) have captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage. The Philadelphia-based group consists of six veteran musicians intent on delivering Led Zeppelin live, like you’ve never heard before. Utilizing the multi-instrumentalists at their disposal, GTLO re-create the songs in all their depth and glory with the studio overdubs that Zeppelin themselves never performed. When you hear three guitars on the album…GTLO delivers three guitarists on stage. No wigs or fake English accents, GTLO brings what the audience wants…a high energy Zeppelin concert with an honest, heart-thumping intensity.

Dubbed by the media as "The American Led Zeppelin," Get The Led Out offers a strong focus on the early years. They also touch on the deeper cuts that were seldom, if ever heard in concert. GTLO also include a special “acoustic set” with Zep favorites such as “Tangerine” and the “Battle of Evermore” being performed in its’ original instrumentation with guest singer Diana DeSantis joining the band.

GTLO has amassed a strong national touring history, having performed at major club and PAC venues across the country. GTLO’s approach to their performance of this hallowed catalog is not unlike a classical performance. "Led Zeppelin are sort of the classical composers of the rock era," says lead vocalist Paul Sinclair. "I believe 100 years from now they will be looked at as the Bach or Beethoven of our time. As cliché as it sounds, their music is timeless."

A GTLO concert mimics the “light and shade” that are the embodiment of "The Mighty Zep." Whether it's the passion and fury with which they deliver the blues-soaked, groove-driven rock anthems, it's their attention to detail and nuance that makes a Get The Led Out performance a truly awe-inspiring event!

    The Nutcracker (Show Only)

The Aurinko Ballet is thrilled to once again present the Nutcracker in the breathtaking Lerner Theatre. What images come to mind when you think of the Nutcracker? Swaying ball gowns that glide at the foot of a decked-out evergreen? Heaps of brightly wrapped boxes with shimmering bows? A girl traveling through a magic world of sweets and a handsome prince to accompany her? Aurinko Ballet invites you to view this classic Christmas tale from a unique perspective. Imagine a different picture—one that we face every day: busy streets bustling with shoppers talking on their cell phones, joggers hurrying from one place to the next, and, in the midst of the chaos, a girl left homeless and destitute on the bitter winter streets. She cries out for compassion and love but is met with indifferent, wintry glares. This is the opening of The Nutcracker as choreographed by Gregory Hancock; the story follows Klara in her magical pursuit of a family and, in doing so, helps to show the true meaning of Christmas. The holiday season is not only about the shopping, or the food, or the gifts—it is about loving our neighbors (even those who seem far from us) and realizing that every human on this earth makes up a piece of a puzzle that works towards a whole. The Nutcracker is about unity and love both within families and around the world. Be a part of this incredible adventure at the Lerner Theater in Elkhart. This emotional experience will influence you to love your neighbors and to understand the true meaning of the holidays because, in the end, "only kindness matters."
