Join us as we kick off Elkhart Jazz Fest with a FREE concert by Truth in Jazz!

Truth in Jazz is a 20 piece Big Band that was founded in 1998 by Dave Ogle of the Elkhart Truth with the assistance of trombone player Steve Petit. Gay Burton was the first director. The band performs Big Band Music from all the eras, and this year will be performing favorites chosen by the individual players in the band. Truth in Jazz is under the direction of Steve Allen, Lead Trumpet and a charter member of the band. The band is made up of local professional musicians who have a deep love for Jazz and wish to support Jazz Music and Jazz Education in Michiana.
