Lunchtime Live! Free Concert Featuring Don Savoie

Composer/arranger Don Savoie Began his musical career in high school in southwestern Michigan. He honed his musical skills while a student at the University of Michigan during the vibrant Detroit/Ann Arbor rock and blues scene from the mid-seventies through the mid-eighties. During that time, he played many clubs, festivals, and events including the Detroit Blues Fests, Ann Arbor Spring Bash, Ann Arbor Art Fairs , 1980 Olympics, Lake Placid, N.Y., and the Montreux International Festival. He has opened shows for artists such as Joe Cocker, Jackson Browne, Patti Smith, Weather Report, Koko Taylor, Jimmy Cliff, Ramsey Lewis, and John Lee Hooker. Don is also the Professor of Music at the University of Notre Dame and Holy Cross College. He performs steadily throughout northern Indiana, southern Michigan, and into Chicago.
