Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue to perform at the Lerner Theatre during the Elkhart Jazz Festival

Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenuewill be bringing the funk to this summer’s Elkhart Jazz Festival at 8 p.m. June 25 at the Lerner Theatre.

The concert will be the cornerstone of the 29th annual jazz fest, which also will bring Joshua Redman, Joan Collaso, Dave Bennett, The Rad Trads and more to six venues the weekend of June 24.

Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews and Orleans Avenue meld hip-hop beats with rock and jazz traditions, earning Grammy nominations and creating chart-topping hits.
