Three Dog Night coming to Elkhart's Lerner Theatre in October

Mama told them not to come, but Three Dog Night is returning to Elkhart for a show this fall.

The band, which had 21 Top 40 hits and 12 gold records in its four-decade career, will perform at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Lerner Theatre.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, and range from $35 to $65. They can be purchased on the Lerner’s website, at the theater box office at 410 S. Main St. or by calling 574-293-4469

Some of the group’s most popular songs are “Mama Told Me (Not To Come),” “An Old Fashioned Love Song” and “Joy To The World,” also known as “Jeremiah Was A Bullfrog.”

Three Dog Night last performed in Elkhart County at the 2009 Elkhart County 4-H Fair. Other performers that year included Jars of Clay, Rodney Atkins, Gretchen Wilson, Julianne Hough and Kate and Kacey.
