September 25, 2013
“An Evening with C.S. Lewis” comes to the Lerner Theatre on Oct. 30. Payne also explores the relationship between Lewis and one of his closest friends, J.R.R. Tolkien, author of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy. Clive Staples Lewis, or “Jack,” died Nov. 22, 1963, the same day as President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. The solo performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Reserved seats are available for $42.50, $37.50 and $27.50. Special group pricing is also available. Tickets are available at
